Inkjet
Address Printing Systems - High Production
High-production inkjet
addressing is possible on
Tabletop Printers, but in most cases a
floor model system is necessary to run the widest variety of
material from postcards to magazines. In addition, the mail
piece may be glossy and the ink will need help Drying and/or
Tabbing may be necessary as well.
Another advantage of
floor model high-production inkjets are the capabilities of ordering
a mail base that can be run inline with other mail and bindery
equipment such as
Inserters,
Paper Folders ,booklet makers and
stitchers.
Although a floor model
inkjet may look more complicated, many are user friendly and require
little, if any additional care and maintenance when compared to
tabletop inkjets. A floor model system may utilize Hewlett
Packard cartridge-based thermal inkjet technology (similar to the
inkjets found in many homes and small businesses) or solvent-based
systems that utilize a bulk ink supply. Additional information
